How to work with Wordpress

Password change for wordpress site:

Go to wordpress site by clicking wordpress.com login existing user id and password then go to users then edit then type your own password and click on update profile.

Delete all the plug-ins:

Go to wordpress site by typing Domain Name.com/wp-admin go to dashboard click on Plug-ins select all Plug-ins by give the tick mark in the left side box where written Plugin

Select deactivate from the dropdown list of the left side of apply button. Click on apply button. Then

select all Plug-ins by give the tick mark in the left side box where written Plugin

Select Delete from the dropdown list of the left side of apply button. Click on apply button.

Delete Permalinks:

Go to dashboard then settings then go to permalinks scroll down the page and just select post name it will deselect the customs stricture settings.

Change the theme of the website:

Go to dashboard then appearance then theme Add New then Select your desired theme (Example: Astra) then click on Install and then click on active button.

Plug-ins Installation:

Go to dashboard then Plug-ins then Add new search for free Plug-ins (Example: Astra starter site Elementor, Beaver Builder & Gutenberg templates) then click install then click Active.

Delete Pages:

Go to dashboard then Pages then select all pages by give the tick mark in the left side box where written Title. Select Move to Trust from the dropdown list of the left side of apply button. Click on apply button.

When you move the cursor to over in any page title you can see the trust button which was hidden. Click on trust button then select all pages by give the tick mark in the left side box where written Title. Select Delete Permanently from the dropdown list of the left side of apply button. Click on apply button.

How to import our site:

Go to dashboard then Appearance then select the installed plug-ins from dropdown list of Appearance You can see all the website which you want to install then click on free select your desired site (Example: Garden Maintenance) click on details and preview then click on install plugins then click on import this site then press ok to the pop up box then click done and view our site.

Customize website:

Got to website edit page:

Go to wordpress site by typing Domain Name.com/wp-admin login by giving your id and password.

After login go to your website (Example: bioreviews.gq) then in the top of the website you can see customize, New, edit page, Beaver builder etc button then click on customize button new page will appear to edit website with a editing box to the left side of the webpage.

Edit panel could contains Global, Header, Breadcrumb, Blog, Sidebar, Footer, Menus, Widges, Homepage Settings, Additional settings, Additional CSS, Hide controls, Desktop, Tab, Mobile view option and finally the published button at the top of the panel.

How to Change logo, site title, tagline:

Go to Header then site identity then write site title (EX: bioreviers), write tagline which will display below of the site title then tick on display tagline change the desktop logo by uploading desired logo and also change mobile logo by uploading another background transparent logo for mobile.

Change the primary header settings:

Go to Header then Primary Header select your desired primary header then click on publish

Change the primary menu settings:

Go to Header then Primary menu from here you can change enable/disable option, List item in Menu, Hide and show last item in menu, Take last item outside menu, customs menu text/HTML, Sub menu, container Animation, Container Border, Border Color, Submenu Divider, Divider Color, Mobile Menu, Menu Breakpoint, Menu label, Toggle Button Style, Toggle button Color, Border Radius, Dropdown Target (Icon or Link)

How to change header transparent:

Go to Header then Transparent Header. From here you can enable transparent header for complete website or only for some pages, Enable on Desktop or Mobile or Mobile+ Desktop option and also different logo for transparent header. You can change or remove logo, selection different logo for retina devices. You can change logo width, bottom border size, bottom border color.

You can change color and background management to the Background, Site Title, Menu, Submenu and Content.

How to add many hidden button under a button:

Go to customize then click on menus then again click on menus then click on the (+Add items) to the middle of menu panel. Write your desired page name to the (add new page) box then click on add after then that menu item will display to the side menu panel. Click and hold the new menu item, drug and move the new menu under the menu where you want to add this submenu. Click hold and drug that submenu some right side of mail menu. You can change Color and background by previous instruction.

Change button against button:

(Example: take action button in replace of contact button)

Go to Customize then header then Primary header then last item in menu then choose name from dropdown list choose the search then select button (Rename button text) change button link like /contact change button style and click on publish.

Change the color of the button:

Go to Customize then header then Transparent header then change color and any other option.

Remove duplicate button:

Go to customize then click on menus then again click on menus click and select the desired button then click on remove under the selected button option click on publish.

Edit with elementor: (It is also a page builder)

In this option you can change all content of your pages, add videos, style, change the text color, font size font, add panel and change fonts.

For this go to Beaver builder and move the cursor over the panel or text which you want to change. Then edit the desired changes.

Add link to buttons:

Go to beaver edit option of the site click on the button and add desired to add and click on done.

Change any image:

Go to beaver edit option of the site click on the image you want to change or edit click on edit then upload image then upload your desired image and click on done.

Control the boxes (upper, Down, Side etc):

Go to beaver edit option Click any box then go to advance then edit your desired changes and click on done.

Fix or move the image:

Go to beaver edit option of the site click on the image then style then select fixed or move from dropdown list then click on done.

More button creation:

Just copy and paste button and change the link of the button.

Change the video option auto play:

Go to beaver edit option of the site click on the video to select and you can find video option to the left side to edit.

How to play video to the background:

Go to beaver edit option of the site click on the video to select then style select video icon then past video link (start time and end time) then select background overlay then delete the image and change color.

Control Mobile version of website:

Go to customize then click on the mobile icon to the bottom of the left panel then style tick the mobile option where required then update.

Any image you can hide on mobile:

Go to customize then click on the mobile icon to the bottom of the left panel Advance select hide on mobile.

Contact page form creation:

Go to dashboard then contact then edit you can find the short code to the bottom, copy the short code go to mail option fill up the form like this To: (Your email address)

Sub: “[Your-Name]”

Additional Header Reply –To: [Your-Email]

Message Body:

Form: [[Your-Email]

Then click save button

Then add a new page then dashboard then add a new page then edit the page at the same way.

Add blocks to new page:

To Add blocks to new page click on folder option then go to Library then Testimonials reviews and also out team or others pages
